Great, but not enough shelves KirkGot two of these, and they look great, but unfortunately they do not come with enough shelves. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for some additional glass shelves but IKEA doesn’t appear to offer them as a separate product.
Thrilled with our Blåliden cabinetsJocelynWe got 2 of these and they’re just what we wanted. The installer was very quick, and secured them unobtrusively to the wall. I would love to get extra shelves, but apparently I would need to buy the brackets for them as spare parts from Ikea and get a local glazier to cut the shelves.
Extra shelf panels not soldEric RaymondProduct is excellent and perfect for collectors. 1 star less for not selling spare shelf glasses separately. Plenty of room to add more for customization. At the moment, only option is to purchase acrylic ones from 3rd parties. Come on Ikea, don't you want our money? Sell us the spare shelf glass.
Very tidy and nice looking, good value for moneyJamesI use these to store action figures in my room, and it looks fantastic, compliments the room greatly and will protect them from dust for certain. The process of putting these together was relatively straightforward, but was a little fiddly at times; the instructions do say that you should get a second person to help you with getting into installing the glass while it's upright, and while I managed to assemble it on my own fine enough, I can definitely see why you may want some help when getting to that stage. Screwing in the supports for the inner glass panels to go on was also a bit annoying primarily in regard to getting the screws to lock in, but otherwise, it's a good piece of kit for what you get.

Excellent cabinetAlanGreat and stylish cabinet that fits my scale models very well. I was surprised, and very pleased, that it included a strap to fix it to the wall in case of earthquake.

Not bad for the priceEric RaymondThey recommend minimum of 2 people for ease of assembly but I was able to do it myself, no problem. I will say though, that the point of challenge or frustration for me would be screwing in the corner platforms for the 3 internal shelves. Everything is a tight fit so, depending on the size of one's hands, that part of the process may be annoying. Once completed though, it's a really nice and solid display for the price point. I rated it 1 star less for that one frustrating part of assembly, Ikea not selling separate extra shelf glasses compatible with this (there are holes indicating you can add more) and how difficult it was to finally order this (always out of stock).
