Storage solutions for the embroiderer or crafterHelenThe drawers come as a flat pack, were easy to put together in a couple of hours and the finished product is sturdy and stable. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Although I am using it to store a large collection of embroidery thread (for which it is perfect) it would look good in a bedroom, an office or walk in wardrobe. The price is value for my money, in my opinion, and I do not hesitate to recommend it.
Great in the Craft RoomBronwynThis wide Alex holds everything! It was easy to assemble too.
It's a shame that it isn't the same size as the other Alex units resulting in me having to purchase 2 Ikea table legs but it has given me a shelf for things I use all the time as they are right there.
The drawers also are not as deep but it is a great product.
Alex Drawers - Ideal for A3 art paperSharonTurns out my flat-pack skills are top notch! 1hr15mins from start to finish. Assembly plans are easy to follow and the finished item sturdy and fits nicely under my desk.
Excellent purchaseSarahI had wanted a set of "plan drawers" for years, but didn't have room for the old-fashioned metal ones. I was thrilled that I could buy one from IKEA. The quality is good, and each drawer is reinforced at the base. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and it assembled well (better than any other flat pack assembly I've done).
