IKEA New Zealand is bringing even more value to families this spring, with two new weekly food offers launching this week, designed to help more people enjoy memorable moments together without stretching the household budget.

Launching this week, Feed the Family and Family Friday deliver simple, great‑value meals featuring much‑loved Swedish dishes, available exclusively for IKEA Family members in-store. Both offers champion a commitment to low prices, great quality and affordability for the many.

Feed the Family 

Every Thursday from 11am, IKEA Family members (it’s free to join) can enjoy a full family meal for just $37 – a saving of more than 37% compared to the non‑member price of $59.

The Feed the Family offer includes:

  • 2 plates of meatballs or plant balls (8pc)
  • 2 smaller serve plates of meatballs or plant balls (5pc)
  • 4 beverages with free refills

Available in-store only from 3 September to 29 October, the offer is designed to make mid‑week dining easier, more affordable, and more enjoyable for families.

Family Friday

The beloved Friday deals are back at IKEA stores – refreshed, simplified and even better value. Family Friday offers IKEA Family members a $5 price point across a range of Swedish favourites, making it easier to start the weekend with a treat.

Breakfast

  • Regular Meat Breakfast – scrambled egg, bacon, hash browns, baked beans & tomato $6 (non‑Family $9)
  • Regular Vegetarian Breakfast – scrambled egg, plant balls, hash browns, baked beans & tomato $8 (non‑Family $8.50)


Mains (from 11am)

  • Plant ball 8 meal
  • Meatball 8 meal
  • Falafel ball 8 meal
  • Fish ball 8 meal
  • All $6 for IKEA Family members (non‑Family $14)

Dessert (available all day)

  • Cinnamon buns 4‑pack $6 (non‑Family $10)

Family Friday runs every Friday, with breakfast available from store opening times and all other dishes available throughout the day.
