How to pay at IKEA

Paying at an IKEA store
We accept IKEA Gift cards, all major debit and credit cards, mobile payments like Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not accept cash for payments in our stores. But we know that sometimes, you need help bringing your dreams to life. That’s why we offer a range of finance options to pay bit-by-bit over time, which you can use when shopping in-store.

Our online payment options are simple and secure. We accept all major New Zealand credit cards and Afterpay, or check-out using your PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can also use an IKEA Gift card or an IKEA Refund card when paying online.
Paying on the IKEA app
You can securely pay through the IKEA app using all major New Zealand credit cards and Afterpay, or check-out using your PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can also use an IKEA Gift card or an IKEA Refund card when paying in the IKEA app. When purchasing food through the IKEA app in-store, you can pay using credit cards, or check-out using your PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Skip the line and save time

Ways to pay
Please note that we do not accept cash payments in our stores. There are no surcharges when you pay by card, and we offer plenty of other fee and interest free ways to shop with us.
