We have been bowled over by the response from New Zealanders since opening on 4 December. The volume of orders in our first days exceeded expectations, and some delivery services have been temporarily unavailable as we work through this.
All truck deliveries have now been successfully rebooked, and parcel orders are on track to be sent in the early part of the week commencing 29 December.
Click and collect slots are now reopened for kitchen orders, with additional slots for other product ranges to be released progressively in the new year. Further parcel and truck delivery slots will also open each week, following a staggered approach to help manage volume and provide customers with greater certainty.
The response from New Zealanders has been extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful for the patience and support shown during this busy period. As we head into the holiday season, we encourage customers to visit us in‑store and enjoy the full IKEA experience.
