How to get it
Handwoven wool rug in green with birch tree pattern. Reversible with same stunning pattern on both sides. Part of the STOCKHOLM collection where each piece is a celebration of Scandinavian design.
Product details
The rug is handwoven by skilled craftspeople and adds a personal and vibrant expression to your room.
The rug has the same pattern on both sides, so you can turn it over and it will withstand more wear and last even longer.
Ideal in your living room or under your dining table since the flat-woven surface makes it easy to pull out the chairs and vacuum.

Good to know
To ensure you are satisfied with the size of the rug once you get it home, we recommend that you measure the intended floor space for your rug before you buy it.
You will need 2 STOPP FILT rug underlay with anti-slip (165x235 cm) for this rug. Trim if necessary.
Sometimes the material has a smell when the rug is new. This is only natural and the smell will disappear over time. Airing and vacuuming the rug will help to eliminate the smell faster.

Form design process
Made using the pit loom weaving technique
The pit loom, as the name suggests, is positioned over a pit, and the wooden frame is angled for horizontal weaving. The artisan sits underneath the frame, and controls it with foot pedals and their hands, crafting rugs with intricate patterns and designs. This setup enables working from both above and below the frame, achieving a very tight weave. Producing a rug with this technique takes about 2-3 days, resulting in a work of art that can add character to any home.

“The colours in nature and the STOCKHOLM 2025 collection always seem to match. The rug, curtains and other home textiles with lively, nature-inspired patterns take you to the fairy-tale forests in the far north – whether it is winter and everything is incapsulated in the fog or the arrival of spring when nature awakens with an explosion of vibrant colours."
