IKEA inspiration days: make space for what you love

What happens when you make room for inspiration in everyday life? New passions emerge, unexpected ideas take shape and you feel inspired to try something new! At IKEA Inspiration Days, we invite you to embrace what you love, discover smart storage solutions and meet people who are genuinely passionate about what they do.

 

Look forward to exciting games and treasure hunt, free breakfast for IKEA Family members, a creative workshop for children, inspiring talks, tastings and plenty of other surprises. You will also meet our much-loved characters – Heart, Meatball, Teddy and the ever-adventurous newcomer FRAKTA.

 

The biggest programme of activities will take place on 29 August, but IKEA Inspiration Days are about much more than just one day. Different activities will continue from 27 August until 16 September. Keep an eye on the latest news and event programme, as more activities will be announced.

Exciting games

Do you have a keen eye and a sense of adventure? Try your luck in “Guess how many?” and see whether you can work out the correct number just by looking. Then set off on the SAMLA treasure hunt around the IKEA store – follow the clues and discover treasures hidden among our inspiring room settings.

Creative workshop for children

Our youngest inspiration seekers will also have an opportunity to use their imagination! At the creative workshop, children can get involved, try something new and enjoy making something of their own. It is the perfect stop during a family day out at IKEA.

 

When? 6 and 13 September, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm
Where?  The showroom on the second floor of IKEA Riga

Organise with Style

How to make your daily life easier and your space more harmonious at the same time? Visual image stylist, head of the “La Veil” studio-school, and entrepreneur Laura Valuta will share many tips and tricks and demonstrate how to organize your clothes, home textiles, make-up, and accessories in a functional and stylish way. Join the master class on September 13 at 13:00 in the Swedish Restaurant at IKEA Riga!

Walls won’t stop the order

The secret to a comfortable and cozy outdoor area is the right furniture. Find out how to choose the best items and how to take care of them after each season: join Dace Ziediņa, a garden design expert and creator of the Instagram account @manssapnudarzs, for a masterclass in the Swedish Restaurant at IKEA Riga on September 6 at 13:00.

Winds of inspiration in Liepaja 

How can you bring pleasant tidiness to your kitchen and create a setting where inspiration and creativity flourish, rather than chaos? Find out on September 5 at 11:00 at the IKEA Plan and Order Point in Liepāja, where we’ll be hosting Anna Panna. She will also share practical tips on food storage.

All workshop participants will receive a 25 EUR coupon, valid on purchases of 100 EUR or more.
