Meet a chair that blows

It’s free and available worldwide. No, not the chair... the air you put in it. That’s right, an actually comfortable inflatable easy chair. Thoughtful but fun. Simple but useful. That’s playful functionality.

Is that a lamp that bends?

Sure is. It is designed to transform from an uplighter to a spotlight and a floor lamp. A little swivelling – a lot of usefulness.

“The idea for the floor lamp came to me while I was cutting 45-degree angles with my miter saw. The simple movement was so satisfying and I knew I had to make something useful out of it. When you’re lying on the couch, you need different types of lighting – mood lighting, uplighting, reading light or wall lighting. This lamp lets you play with that. The tube and the swivel function are the essence of the design – the base and the shade are the result.”

Can a bench rock?

You bet! It is meant as an invitation to be a little playful. So go ahead, dare to take a seat and have a sway or two. You can even invite a friend to join.

“For the IKEA PS 2026 bench, the trick was to make it entirely out of pine while still keeping the frame strong. The solution? Make rods out of the wood and glue them together – simple and clever! I hope it makes people pause, play, and if you look closely, smile.”
