The IKEA Family Day

International Family Day is a great opportunity to connect and show our appreciation to our current and future IKEA Family members. This year, we invite you to join us for a festive event filled with fun and engaging activities, delicious treats, and creative workshops for kids. The beloved soft firends will be there too.

When? 17 May, 12:00-16:00.

Where? At the IKEA Vilnius store (Vikingų st. 1).

Please be informed

during the event we will be taking pictures and video recording. The photos and/or videos might be used for mass media and social media communication. If you do not want to be video recorded or photographed, please inform the event organisers during the event.

Furniture assembly challenge

Think assembling furniture from instructions is a breeze? So do we. But can you do it within the time limit? Put your skills to the test – if you're quicker than the rest, the furniture you assemble will be yours to keep.

 

You can take part alone, with friends, or as a family. Registration will be available on-site at the event.

 

When? 17 May, 12:00-16:00.

Where? By the stairs leading to Market Hall (1st floor).

Fun for kids

Pin badges workshop

The little ones will design their own pin badges, featuring drawings of their family members.

Face painting

Children will be invited to decorate themselves with festive face paintings.

When? 17 May, 12:00-16:00.
Where? By the entrance (1st floor).

Treats on the house!

Festive cake

All visitors will be treated to a slice of cake.

When? 17 May, 15:00.
Where? At the Swedish Restaurant (2nd floor)

Swedish delicacies

The chef will invite you to sample cinnamon buns and traditional meatballs.

When? 17 May, 12:00-16:00.

Organising wardrobes with Jovita Mikštė

Professional home organiser, founder of “Organised Homes” and author of the book “Organised Homes”, Jovita Mikštė will host an education and share expert tips on how to organise your wardrobe using IKEA solutions.

When? 17 May, 12:00-16:00.
Where? Wardrobes & bedroom storage department (2nd floor).

Registration will be available on-site at the event.
