In-store events

Everything you love doing at home deserves its own space. That’s why this year, we’re inviting you to discover not only new hobbies, but also the solutions that help make room for them. Join us at IKEA in Vilnius and Klaipėda for inspiring conversations, familiar faces, games and, of course, a few tasty treats.

The unfamiliar hobbies of familiar faces

Meet well-known enthusiasts from the worlds of books, sport, baking and more. Writer and journalist Rimantė Kulvinskytė, author of the blog “Living in a Farmhouse” Monika Vilčinskaitė, travel content creator and founder of “Keliauk Zuikiu” Gintarė Lazdauskė, healthy lifestyle and fitness coach Alanas Dzeranovas, content creator Medeina Andriulienė, men’s stylist Daniel Poplavski, artist, illustrator and comic creator Akvilė Magicduste (Magicdust), and dessert culture ambassador Liucina Rimgailė will be joining us to share their passions. In different room settings around the Showroom, they’ll talk about their hobbies and how they make room at home for the things they love doing. The conversations will be hosted by Orijus Gasanovas.

When? 29–30 August, 12:30–16:00

Help what matters find its place

A tidy home doesn’t mean empty shelves. Quite the opposite: good storage solutions should help you make room not only for order, but also for your hobbies, collections and memories. Our boxes, shelves, glass-door cabinets and hooks are designed to help the things that bring you joy become a natural part of everyday life, while always staying close at hand.

Storage guide

Make space for reading

Create a cosy reading corner where favourite books are easy to reach and lovely to look at. With shelves, bookcases, baskets and side tables, every story can have its place.

Make space for growing

Whether it’s herbs on the windowsill or plants in every room, smart storage helps make room for greenery at home. Plant stands, shelves and trolleys keep pots, tools and watering cans organised and close at hand.

Make space for favourite recipes

From open shelves and drawer organisers to jars, boxes and kitchen trolleys, we're here to help you keep ingredients, utensils and much-loved recipe books ready for your next meal.

Make space for personal style

Clothes, accessories and everyday favourites deserve more than a crowded wardrobe. With wardrobes, drawer organisers, hooks, rails and boxes, it’s easier to see what you have, enjoy what you love and get ready your way.

Make space for arts and crafts

Sewing, knitting, wood carving, painting or drawing – creative hobbies often come with plenty of tools and materials. Luckily, we have all the organisers you need to keep everything sorted.

Make space for gaming

Great gaming moments start with a setup that works for you, whether it’s a video game night or a board game around the table. With smart storage, you can spend less time looking for missing pieces and more time playing together.

Make space for being active

From yoga mats and weights to trainers and sports gear, active hobbies need storage that keeps up. Hooks, baskets, benches and cabinets help keep equipment easy to grab, easy to put away and ready for the next workout.

Make space for childhood

Children need room to play, learn, imagine and grow. Toy storage, low shelves, boxes and baskets make it easier for little things to find their place, and for everyday play to become part of the home.

Make space for collections

Collections tell stories, so they deserve to be stored and displayed with care. Glass-door cabinets, shelves, boxes and display solutions help protect treasured pieces while keeping them visible and enjoyable every day.
