You can easily create your own personal lamp with just a decorative bulb, or combine the cord set with a lampshade of your choice.
Use a cord set to easily adjust the length of the cord for your pendant lamp. When the lamp hangs at the perfect height, gather the remaining cord in the ceiling cup and then mount it tight to the ceiling.

Light bulb sold separately. IKEA recommends LED bulb E26.
Lampshade is sold separately.
Use an opal light bulb if you have an ordinary lamp shade or lamp and want an even, diffused distribution of light.
Use a clear light bulb if you have a lamp shade or lamp with a perforated or cut-out pattern or other airy, open design and want the pattern to cast effects on the wall and ceiling.

These are great cords; very handy and can be used for many different types of shades. I just wish they also came in white...these with the nice metal bulb socket pieces look more upscale than the plastic ones.
