    Care

Is adjustable and does not take much room in the kitchen where I need it while prepping meals etc. Will make a pad of some type for the seat

I love stools. Use them for console tables, night stands, seats, pedestals, lion taming, the uses are unlimited. Ikea's Dalfred is a classic that fills all those roles with aplomb.
