Great for kitchen island!

We purchased two of them to hang above our kitchen island and they look fantastic. The retro vibe and the color scheme makes them look way more expensive than their modest price tag.

After wondering for an hour which light to get for our kitchen from IKEA, we settled in this one. It turned out great in our kitchen; one light provides ample lighting for a 6 person table .

"The idea with BLÅSVERK was to create lamps with an exciting design, and a low price. To succeed, the interaction between form and function needed to make it possible to pack, transport and assemble the lamps efficiently and smoothly. That’s why I chose to divide the plastic shade into two halves – one coloured and one white – and combine them with a matching aluminium tube. Assembling the parts creates a timeless lamp with soft shapes that give you a pleasant light."
