Fika on the go

The Right of Public Access - or ”Allemansrätten” in Swedish - gives Swedes the ability to access and explore the entire country, even private land. Take a moment to enjoy nature like a Swede, with a coffee outdoors and a friend. Have your kit ready to “fika” (Swedish for sharing coffee and sweet treats with friends) anywhere, anytime.

How to turn your coffee break into an excursion in nature

Taking a break from the daily grind is always a good idea. And doing it outdoors with a coffee and a friend an even better one. Sharing a meal (however small) with someone makes you feel connected and getting some fresh air in nature is good for both mind and body. Sipping a delicious coffee outdoors together is an opportunity to slow down, recharge and practice mindful eating.

 

  • Stock your kit with some light food and drink, like coffee and a pastry.
  • Choose a nice spot outside and spread out a TJÄRBLOMSTER blanket to make yourself comfortable.
