When installing a bed, there is a gap between the bed frame and the mattress.
There is a gap between the head/footboard and the mattress to make it easier to take out the mattress.
Please turn the mattress inside out several times a year. If you are concerned about gaps, fill them with a cushion or other tool. The gap between the bed frame and the mattress is not a problem.
