How are the buy-back prices determined for Buyback service?
The buy-back price is determined after you select one of three condition levels (As new, Very good, Good) based on the furniture's condition, including signs of use and damage. The final assessed price is confirmed after we check the furniture's condition at the Exchanges & Returns area. Please note that the final price may differ from the estimated buy-back price. For IKEA Family members, you'll receive an additional 10% on top of the buy-back price, making the service even more rewarding.
- As new – No scratches or stains. This means the furniture is in a "new" condition with no scratches anywhere. (IKEA Family members get an additional 10%.)
- Very good – Only minor signs of use. This means the furniture has only a few small scratches and is in very good condition. (IKEA Family members get an additional 10%.)
- Well-used – Obvious signs of use. This means the furniture has several scratches and stains and is in a well-used condition, but it is safe, functions as intended, and is perfectly suitable for resale and reuse. (IKEA Family members get an additional 10%.)
