IKEA’s Home Restaurant: Hemma

Exclusive invitation from two-MICHELIN-star chef Noboru Arai of HOMMAGE

Welcome to Hemma

For one day only on 3/18, IKEA is opening the door to something truly special in Tokyo.

To rethink what great dining can be, IKEA has teamed up with one of Japan’s most awarded chefs, Noboru Arai. Known for the precision and prestige of high end cuisine, Chef Arai brings a different perspective: the most memorable meals are not always found in exclusive restaurants, but at home, on your own terms.

The concept of Hemma,  meaning “at home” in Swedish - is a unique dining experience set inside the private home of Chef Arai.

Unlike the perfect dish you'd find in his restaurant, enjoy a special menu designed to fill him and his loved ones with warmth in a space themed around the chef's home.

Through Hemma, Chef Arai shows that great food doesn’t have to mean high prices or hard-to-get reservations. With just a little creativity and smart IKEA solutions, any home can become the best restaurant in town. Filled with more warmth and happiness than you ever imagined.

What you’ll experience

● Home-style dishes prepared by Chef Noboru Arai
● The rare chance to watch a Michelin Star chef cook up close
●Inspiring table settings, smart ways to use kitchen tools, and LDK room coordination
● The infinite possibilities of everyday cooking at home
