Today I purchased and assembled the chair and had quite a tough job to assemble it. However, the appearance was a little odd, it seemed to be leaning back too far and was not very comfortable to sit in and have an animated conversation. The reclining position was too extreme. It also looked odd, especially the side view which was the way the chair is seen when entering the room. My solution? I disobeyed the assembly instructions. I removed the legs an in direct contravention of the assembly instructions I swapped the front legs with the back legs. The instructions clearly show that the longer legs should be on the front. With shorter legs in the front the chair is transformed, the ugly duckling becomes a swan and the uncomfortable slouched seating posture becomes an elegant repose.RichardOverall I am happy with the product. The fabric, we chose the beige corduroy effect fabric, has lovely feel to it and seems quite durable. It is no work of art, but for the money, it is lovely, honest, comfortable little chair.4
