Good to know

Mount the short side on a 20 cm deep shelf and the long side on a 30 cm deep shelf.

Screws are not included.

Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

If you are uncertain about what type of fixing devices to use, please contact your local hardware store.

If using only 2 brackets on a 120cm shelf, the distance between the brackets should be 70-80cm.

Absolute Nightmare To InstallConorLooks nice but doesn't come with screws, the instructions don't tell you what screws to use even and don't show how best to mount it with the shelf. Spent hours with trial and error trying to get it up. 1
Some screws should be providedJohnThe screws to the wall are not provided because IKEA does not know whether your wall is concrete or plasterboard or whatever, but the screws from the bracket to the Ikea shelf (separate item) should be provided as IKEA knows the shelf size or can specify that in the instructions. So, to mount the bracket on the wall, you need a wood screw with the right head, not to thick, long enough to go through 2-2.5cm of wood and enough into your chosen rawl plug. Then you need a pan head screw for the picture hook slider with a head that is small enough - this is the main supporting screw. Then, to hold the shelf on the bracket at the back, you need a pan head that is short enough to go half way into the wood of the shelf and no further. Then you need a wood screw that is short enough to go through the wood of the bracket and enough into the shelf, and no more. That's potentially 4 types of screws, 2 of which Ikea could provide. 3
