LeaksAnonymous reviewerJoints are all push joints on this, its fine when set up but any movement or anything hitting off the pipes results in it leaking and having to spend 20 mins trying to reposition it to not leak. Have bought larger rubber seals than those provided and it helps a bit, but still flimsy at the connections even when fully pushed in, they come out over time.
Clever design but it leaksAnonymous reviewerThe water trap mostly works well. The quality is good, the solution is clever. The only problem is that the joints aren't particularly strong, so if you put too much strain on them during installation, they will start to leak, and it's impossible to fix. Maybe buy a spare just in case, or else just complement it with standard UK/Ireland plumbing attachments.
Not fit for Irish systemAnonymous reviewerThis is for EU market and standards, to be able to connecting to waste pipeline need adaptor which is not an easy to find to convert 40mm to 40mm. Something to think before buying! Otherwise loosing few hours to find store that actually have that kind adapter! Since I’m on South of country there is no chance to spend half day travelling back to IKEA Dublin to be able to purchase something that they should provide at first place since they know the differences in standard between EU and UK/Ireland
