With this day-bed you quickly and easily create space for overnight guests. Just pull out the bed base and you get a double bed in no time.

The large drawers have space for extra duvets, pillows, linens or other things you need to store, but want to have close at hand.

This simple design fits together with many different styles. Keep it as it is or create a cosy corner with lots of pillows.

Good to know

The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

Combines with other furniture in the BRIMNES series.

Mattress and bedlinen are sold separately.

Slatted bed base is included.

The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

Think and try out before you purchase.JeanIt took 3 hours to put together which wasn't easy when you are very pricese and very capable of doing this. The bed is extremely heavy and not very easy to move. The drawers underneath are great but are inclined to slide forward. The mattresses which you have to purchase separate are very thin and would be better to be much thicker and are quiet hard to sleep on. Try out before you buy.3
A complete disappointment VeraWe bought this guest bed thinking it would be perfect for its purpose but we couldn't have been more wrong. First, assembling the bed was quite a nightmare (bare in mind we assembled a whole otoman king size bed the previous weekend). Second, the actual mattresses are rubbish. This could be a sofa but never a bed. Our two guests that happily tried it for the first time ended up sleeping separate: one with an old mattress and the other with the two thin like paper mattresses from Ikea. And lastly, the bed itself should fit perfectly but somehow we have to close it between two people because it won't close, so it's always slightly open which is pretty annoying. Very very disappointed with this product. We thought we could return it or resell it but Ikea wouldn't take it. 1
