This lamp has an inner opaque shade and an outer shade in coloured glass, so it provides mood lighting and directed light.
The lamp stands stable thanks to the heavy base in marble.
This lampshade in glass is mouth blown by a skilled craftsperson and therefore unique.
If you want to be able to easily change the light according to mood and needs, you can dim and switch between warm and cold light wirelessly if you complete the lamp with TRÅDFRI remote control kit. Sold separately.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.

The EVEDAL series is inspired by Scandinavian design from the mid-20th century and my goal is for them to be lamps that you want to keep your entire life, and maybe even pass down to the next generation. The most characteristic thing about it is its outer shade in coloured glass which encloses the inner shining light ‒ something that I think gives the lamp a beautifully poetic look."
