How do I register for purchasing on account?
Fill out the application online and agree to the privacy policy and a credit check. It will only take a few days to process your application. We’ll send you a welcome e-mail with your customer number and purchasing limit after processing your application.
We can’t deviate from this process for security reasons. Sorry, no instant loans or same-day shopping.
If you still need a payment card, you will also need to agree to the card's terms and conditions.
You will receive your personalised payment card by post within five to seven working days after your welcome e-mail.
How do I place an order on account?
- Select the business customer option in the shopping bag for online purchases on account. Then select purchase on account for businesses and enter your ten-digit account number at the checkout. Remember that you will need to create a new account for each different billing address.
- Send any e-mail orders from your business e-mail address. You will also need to provide an invoice reference (customer order number) and full ten-digit customer number.
- Orders by phone will need to be confirmed in writing from your business e-mail address.
- You will need to present your IKEA for Business payment card when ordering at an IKEA store. As the cardholder, you will also need to identify yourself at the checkout with this card and an official photo ID. Optionally, you can also authorise another person; that person will need to present your original authorisation together with their official photo ID to make the purchase.
What are the payment terms?
Each invoice amount needs to be paid by bank transfer within thirty days of the invoice date without deductions. Purchased goods remain the property of IKEA until we have received full payment.
Can we use one account for several different locations with direct billing at each location?
One account for several different locations only makes sense if the billing address is the same for all the locations. If you represent a public authority, we can store the corresponding routing ID to route the invoice internally to the appropriate department.
Are there discounts or BELÖNA points when I pay on account?
No, we only issue BELÖNA points to IKEA for Business members. This membership is separate from purchasing on account. Registration is free and available online for convenience.
How can I change my customer data for purchasing on account?
You will need to send us any change in your business details – address, phone number, e-mail address – in writing on company letterhead or by e-mail from your business e-mail address to IKEA IKEA ([email protected]).
