Dogs at IKEA
From now on, dogs are warmly welcome at all IKEA stores and planning studios. To make sure all guests feel comfortable, we kindly ask you to bring your dog in a special dog bag, dog backpack or dog crate, or to keep your dog on a short lead at all times indoors.
Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the serving area of the Swedish Restaurant, the Swedish Food Market or the Bistro. Trained guide dogs and assistance dogs are of course exempt from this rule. Dog owners are liable for their dogs.
For your four-legged friend’s well-being, some of our stores also provide spots with fresh water.
Transport bag and leash requirement
So everyone can feel comfortable: please bring your dog in a dedicated dog bag, backpack or crate, or keep your dog on a short lead at all times.
Food areas
Dogs are not allowed in the serving area of the Swedish Restaurant, the Swedish Food Market or the Swedish Bistro.
Assistance and guide dogs
You may of course bring trained guide dogs and assistance dogs with you into the store and also into the food areas.
