Installing a kitchen is a bit like cooking – some like to do it themselves, others prefer to enjoy the final result. Our IKEA kitchen assembly service will see to it that your dream kitchen is installed and ready to use as quickly as possible for you to start cooking your favourite recipes. We’ll install your new kitchen and organise everything from start to finish. 

Kitchen assembly is part of our planning service. We’ll start with your wishes and an interior measurement; our professional fitters will take care of the installation, including the time-consuming kitchen components such as sinks, mixer taps, worktops, and electrical appliances.

Prices

Kitchen installation will be charged by the running metre for the total length of your kitchen.

  • METOD or KNOXHULT kitchens: €249 per running metre         
  • ENHET Küche: €219 per running metre

 

The price includes:

  • Travel for the installation professionals
  • Hardware
  • Installing, positioning and hanging up cabinets
  • Installing worktops, including cutouts
  • Installing cabinet lighting
  • Installing grips and interior fittings such as shelves, baskets and similar
  • Installing and connecting IKEA sinks, siphons, mixer taps, and electrical appliances         
  • Installing wall panels
  • Leaving your completed swept clean, complete packaging removal

How to use this service

  1. Find inspiration in our kitchens and contact the IKEA planning service with your wishes and ideas conveniently from home or at an IKEA store. Please note all IKEA Planning services are only available in German language. You will be forwarded to the German Website.
  2. We'll get together with you and plan your new kitchen, organising everything from start to finish: Interior measurements, 3D planning, putting together your shopping list or delivering and assembling your new kitchen. 
  3. Check the planning and your order to make sure everything matches up to your expectations. 
  4. At this point, you can either take your new IKEA kitchen components home or use our convenient delivery service. Delivery is not included in kitchen installation, but you might need to include it to make the process run more smoothly.
  5. Prepare the kitchen before installation. This entails getting rid of everything you don't need and take care of any work that might need doing beforehand such as repairs, painting the walls, refinishing the floors and similar. 
  6. Relax and enjoy life while the professionals do their work. 
  7. Our service contractor will take away the packaging ans sweep your new kitchen clean once they're done. Remember to keep all your assembly instructions and user manuals as well as spare parts in a safe place. 
  8. Now you can enjoy cooking in your new kitchen. Rest assured that it will serve you well for years to come.

Good to know

  • Kitchen installations require our planning service and an interior measurement survey beforehand.
  • The service costs are payable using IKEA financing.
  • You will need to order a professional company to install and connect gas appliances or high-voltage connections fused at more than 16 A; ask your local gas supplier for specialist companies in your area.
