Prices
Taskrabbit arranges assembly services starting from a minimum value of €39 (incl. VAT). Prices are based on the amount of work involved and the type of furniture to be assembled. Assembly is carried out according to the IKEA assembly instructions. The final price (incl. VAT) may vary depending on the time required. You will find the exact assembly price under the corresponding products in your shopping cart. Payment is made directly through Taskrabbit once the assembly has been completed.

How to use this service
- Purchase your IKEA products online or in-store.
- You can book Taskrabbit's assembly service directly when you make your purchase. (Please note: The assembly service is not available for all products. You can find out whether assembly is possible from our IKEA coworkers or – when purchasing online – directly in your shopping cart under the respective product.)
- After booking, you will receive a confirmation email from Taskrabbit with a suggested appointment time. You confirm this by providing Taskrabbit with your payment details within 24 hours. Only then will the booking be complete. If the suggested date isn't convenient for you, you can easily change it on Taskrabbit.de. The appointment will be scheduled based on Tasker availability, usually 2 to 3 days after you receive your goods.
- Take your new furniture home yourself – or have it conveniently delivered to you.
- Please leave the furniture in its packaging, but position it in the location where it is to be assembled.
- The Tasker will come to your home at the agreed date and time and carry out the tasks you booked. Payment is made directly through Taskrabbit once the assembly has been completed.

Good to know
- You can book an assembly for all products that are suitable for Taskrabbit's services directly through IKEA. This way, your furniture and accessories will be conveniently assembled for you.
- Kitchen installation, connection of gas or electrical appliances, and disposal of packaging are not included in the assembly service.
- Taskrabbit's network consists of self-employed assemblers called Taskers. Taskers are independent contractors who undergo identity checks. The person performing the work will always be the Tasker named in your booking. Clients review Taskers on Taskrabbit, which ensures transparency regarding their happiness with the services provided.
- For more extensive assemblies, or if the IKEA assembly instructions recommend 2 people for assembly, at least 2 Taskers will automatically be displayed. You will be given the names of all your Taskers at least 24 hours before the appointment date.
- Your contractual partner for the assembly service is the Tasker booked via Taskrabbit. Once the service has been booked, you and the Tasker can chat and discuss all the details of the task (e.g. ceiling height, wall type, etc.), including pictures.
