Our guarantee for you
We’d like you to enjoy your IKEA purchases for as long as possible. That’s why we provide guarantee periods for many of our products, some extending beyond the statutory guarantee and product liability periods. The general terms and conditions apply from the date you receive your purchase, regardless of whether you’ve taken it home yourself or had it delivered to you. This means we highly recommend that you always keep a receipt for your purchase or order. These guarantees apply to purchases from IKEA in Germany.

Kitchen
We provide 25-year guarantees on any defects in materials and workmanship in the METOD kitchen system. Our ENHET kitchen system comes with a 10-year guarantee.
All our IKEA kitchen taps also come with a 10-year guarantee, and all our IKEA electrical appliances come with a 5-year guarantee. The only exceptions are LAGAN and TILLREDA, which have 2-year guarantees.

Bathroom
Our 10-year IKEA bathroom guarantee covers materials and workmanship defects in the ÄNGSJÖN, HAVBÄCK, TÄNNFORSEN and ENHET bathroom series. This also applies to our washbasins, mixer taps, and thermostatic mixer taps.
We offer a 3-year guarantee on all shower rails, hand and ceiling-fitted showers, hoses, and shower shelves.

Bedroom
We’re known for our 10-year IKEA mattress guarantees as well as our 365-day IKEA mattress return policy; the guarantee covers any defects in materials and workmanship in mattresses and bed bases marked with our logo.
We also offer a 10-year guarantee against any defects in materials and workmanship in our PAX wardrobes and KOMPLEMENT interior fittings marked with our logo.
These guarantees do not apply to mattress pads, ENGAVÅGEN spring core, SÄBOVIK mattresses, sofa-bed mattresses, baby and children’s mattresses, or mattresses (only) sold together with a bed frame for a single price such as MOGREINA divan beds.

Living room
We have our sofas thoroughly tested to make sure they meet our strict standards for quality, durability, and high standards for home use. This means we can provide a 10-year guarantee on any defects in materials and workmanship in sofa and armchair frames, seat cushions, or back cushions.
Our FAMMARP electric recliner module comes with a 2-year guarantee.
We even provide a 25-year guarantee on our IKEA STOCKHOLM sofa.

Work space
We provide a 10-year guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship for MITTZON, IDÅSEN and TROTTEN series products, RODULF desks, and GALANT, BEKANT, and HÄLLAN storage systems.
Storage furniture comes under a lot of stress from everyday living and working activities.
We provide a 10-year guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship in the main components in our BROR storage system.
Apart from that, we also provide a 10-year guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship on moving parts and the frame in the following IKEA swivel chairs: ALEFJÄLL, BLYKOBB, FJÄLLBERGET, FLINTAN, GRÖNFJÄLL, HATTEFJÄLL, JÄRVFJÄLLET, LÅNGFJÄLL, LÄKTARE, LIDKULLEN, MARKUS, MULLFJÄLLET, SMÖRKULL, TROLLBERGET, and VALLFJÄLLET.
