What is 3D-Secure?
3D-Secure is a security function for VISA and MasterCard online, also known as Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
It is used to protect you when shopping online. This means that in addition to entering your card details, you have to go through an additional step where your bank or card provider issues a temporary code or password. This increases security when shopping online and prevents fraudulent activity.
