Where can I dispose of product packaging?
You can return product packaging at your nearest IKEA store if you don’t want to dispose of it at home.
All our IKEA stores have large containers for packaging disposal; you’ll find them on the carpark. Remember to check the opening hours of the IKEA store before you set off.
The truck delivery company will take packaging from upholstered furniture and electrical appliances back with them right after delivery. The drivers will also take back packaging from other IKEA products in the current delivery as long as they don’t have to wait longer than five minutes.
IKEA uses the dual system for waste disposal and recycling. All our packaging is recyclable and can be disposed of free of charge in dual system bins.
Simply prepare your return online yourself.
