Where should kitchen electrical appliances be placed?

Here are the tips from our experts.

Oven
Place the oven in a tall cupboard: this way you no longer have to bend down to reach it.
Don't place it on the right or left near a wall: this won't give you a workspace where you can quickly place baking sheets, and the wall could be damaged by the heat and stains of baking.
If you have a corner kitchen, please remember to leave enough space to open the oven and any drawers.
Hob
To cook safely, a distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between the hob and the wall on the right or left.
Place the hob next to the sink so that you don't have to walk around the kitchen with hot pots and leave at least 40 cm of free space between the sink and the hob.
Keep kitchen utensils, pots, and pans near the cooktop and sink so you have them handy during preparation and cooking.
Dishwasher
Place the dishwasher near the water connection and drain. If you place the dishwasher near the sink, it will make it easier for you to load and unload the dishes and avoid stains on the floor.
 Refrigerator
Do not place the freestanding fridge or freezer near a wall or other obstacles: always leave 5/10 cm between the appliance and the wall so that the door and drawers can be opened.
Leave enough space to fully open the fridge/freezer drawers.
Remember that you can change the opening direction of the refrigerator door.
