How can I create and share a favourites list?

Found something you like? Add it to your favourites by clicking on the heart icon next to the product. Sign in with your IKEA Family account so you can view them across different devices later.

With favourites, you can create as many lists as you want and rename them according to your preferences. Your shopping lists are always private by default, but you can share them with your family and friends if you want. You can also print out a shopping list with all the information you need to shop at the store.

Creating a favourites list

  1. Click the "heart icon" in the top right corner of IKEA.XX and give your new list a name.
  2. To make sure it saves across devices, log in to your IKEA Family account or become an IKEA Family member.
  3. Once created, you can add products to your list by clicking the heart icon on the specific product, and they will automatically be added to your list.
Alternatively, you can click on the heart icon on a product and start creating a list that way. The heart icon has different placements based on what page you're on.
If an item you wish to buy is out of stock in the online checkout, you can click the “Save for later” option, and it will automatically save it in a list for you.

Sharing a list on the web

  1. Log in to your IKEA Family account and click on “Lists”.
  2. Go to the list you want to share and click the three dots.
  3. A pop-up will appear where you click “Share”.
  4. Either copy the link or share via email.

Sharing a list in the IKEA app

  1. If you’re in the IKEA Family app, make sure you are logged in.
  2. Go to your member page and then click “Saved lists” to select the list you wish to share.
  3. In the top right corner of the screen, you will see a share icon where you can copy the link or share it with your phone contacts.
Once you’ve shared your list with family and friends, they will be able to see the items you’ve added.

Recipient of a shared list?

You can see the products in the shared list and choose to buy them or save them to your own list for later. Buying or saving the products to your own list will not mark or remove them from the list of the person who shared it with you.

Printing a list

In a web browser, you can also print out a shopping list with all the information you need to shop at the store. This feature is easily accessible by:
  1. Logging in to your IKEA Family account.
  2. Navigate to the specific list you want to print out.
  3. Click on the printer icon in the top right of the list to print.
