Can I take my dog into an IKEA store?
Lots of people are afraid of dogs, so we don’t allow dogs inside IKEA stores. This of course does not apply to certified service and assistance dogs, which you can take into an IKEA store.
However, some IKEA stores make exceptions under certain conditions.
You can find out more about these on their local websites. Please search for the location, click on "view details on German website", and then scroll to the bottom of the respective location's website.
There you will find the exception; if it isn't listed there, dogs are not allowed.
Some IKEA stores offer places with fresh water where your four-legged friend can wait.
Dogs are not allowed in the IKEA restaurant and bistros.
