Can I take my dog into an IKEA store?

Lots of people are afraid of dogs, so we don’t allow dogs inside IKEA stores. This of course does not apply to certified service and assistance dogs, which you can take into an IKEA store.

Some of our stores have dog areas with fresh water where you can leave your dog while you shop.

  • Is it possible to return IKEA products to another store?

    You can also return your products within Germany to an IKEA store other than the one where you originally purchased them.

  • Can trailers be rented from an IKEA store?

    We offer trailers to rent for free at several of our IKEA stores through the company Freetrailer.

  • What can I do if I lose or forget something at an IKEA store?

    The best thing to do is to go back and ask at the customer service desk whether any of your lost personal belongings or purchases have been handed in at the IKEA store.

  • Can I have my old IKEA furniture dismantled and disposed of?

    You can have your old furniture picked up when our service partner delivers your new furniture. Note the conditions that apply.

  • Can I charge my electric car at IKEA?

    We offer you the opportunities to charge your electric vehicle at every German store.

  • Can I reserve items online at the Second Chance store?

    You can conveniently reserve Second Chance store items online and collect them from the IKEA store.
