Consider whether your bed will serve double-duty
Are you shopping for a bed for your studio apartment or a guest room?
If it will benefit you and your guests to have enhanced flexibility, consider if a daybed or futon bed might make more sense than a traditional bed. In a small apartment, this can save you the space of a separate couch without losing comfortable seating options. A daybed can also work well for apartment life, though they are especially popular for guest rooms that double as home offices.
Consider beds with storage
Once you’ve decided on the primary style of bed that suits your needs, consider whether you’d like a bed frame with built-in storage drawers. What sizes do IKEA beds come in?
Beds come in all different shapes and sizes. Even though they might look different, and different bed frames can have different dimensions, the standards for bed sizes for adults are the same. The mattress will normally be 200 cm long, but the width will vary. Beds for children, like cots and so on, will have other sizes, both length and width.
