How do I add a custom countertop to the METOD kitchen planner?

You can design a custom-made worktop in the METOD kitchen planner. Please note that your kitchen plan needs to be reviewed by an IKEA kitchen specialist to make sure your countertop fits properly into your new kitchen.

Follow these steps to design a custom countertop in the METOD kitchen planner:
  1. Start by selecting one of the countertops available in the tool and check the product description to see if it is a custom countertop. If you have already chosen a cabinet with a different countertop, you can easily change it by clicking on the cabinet and then clicking "Change".
  2. Once you have selected your desired countertop, click "Change".
  3. To adjust the measurements yourself, click "Customize", then select "More options" and "Customize".

What should I do after adding a custom countertop to my kitchen design?

Before you can proceed with ordering, any kitchen design featuring a custom-made countertop must be reviewed by an IKEA kitchen specialist—either online or in-store.
