Can I add another DIRIGERA hub to the IKEA Home smart app?

Yes, for iOS only.

This feature had been released for IKEA Home smart iOS. For Android, work is still ongoing and had to be paused in recent weeks due to intense bug fixing. A release will be scheduled as soon as it is ready.

 

Setting up another hub:

  • When going to in-app settings (avatar icon, bottom right on the IKEA Home smart app home screen), you can find a new option called "Add a DIRIGERA hub".

  • Select the option and the app will search for a new hub that hasn't been setup/added yet. If there are issues finding the other hub, the same prinicples as first setting up/finding DIRIGERA hub apply (e.g. a reboot/restart of the hub to be added).

  • You will be able to switch between your hubs on the IKEA Home smart app home screen.
  • If your other DIRIGERA hub is at another location/Wi-FI router, Control Anywhere has to be set up and switched on to be able to reach and use it.

 

Important:

  • To add another DIRIGERA at a different location and Wi-FI, you have to be in the Wi-FI of the hub you would like to add.
