Can I add another DIRIGERA hub to the IKEA Home smart app?

You can currently add another DIRIGERA hub in the IKEA Home smart app for iOS and switch between multiple hubs. This feature is not yet available for Android.

With the IKEA Home smart app for iOS, you can add and manage multiple DIRIGERA hubs. This feature is still in development for Android.

1. How to add another DIRIGERA hub

  1. Open the IKEA Home smart app.
  2. Go to the in-app settings using the avatar icon at the bottom right of the home screen.
  3. Select “Add a DIRIGERA hub”.
  4. The app will then search for a new DIRIGERA hub that has not yet been set up or added.
  5. Follow the instructions in the app to add the hub.
Tip: If the additional hub cannot be found, try the same troubleshooting steps as during the initial setup – for example, restart the DIRIGERA hub.

2. Switch between multiple hubs

Once you have added another DIRIGERA hub, you can switch between your hubs from the home screen of the IKEA Home smart app.

3. Use a DIRIGERA hub at another location

If your additional DIRIGERA hub is at a different location or connected to a different Wi-Fi network, Control Anywhere must be set up and enabled.
This allows you to access and use the hub remotely.

Important to know

If you want to add another DIRIGERA hub at a different location and on a different Wi-Fi network, you need to be connected to the Wi-Fi network of the hub you want to add during setup.
