Which areas at IKEA are affected by the "Quiet Hour"?

Find out which areas are covered by the IKEA Silent Hour and which shared areas may be exempt.


The IKEA "Silent Hour" applies to the entire store.
The aim is to create a quieter and more pleasant shopping atmosphere in as many areas as possible.

WHERE THE "SILENT HOUR" APPLIES

✓ In the market hall area
✓ In the customer areas
✓ In most areas of the store
✓ With many acoustic and visual stimuli in the store

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Some shared areas may be exempt from the "Silent Hour".
These include, for example:
  • Routes from the car park or multi-storey car park
  • Entrance areas
  • Lift areas
  • Areas after the cash registers
Some of these zones are also used by other visitors outside the IKEA store.
