Eventually decided to purchase the Flint chair blindly.
And it was a pleasant surprise for me - very simple but convenient and comfortable. I can compare with some others chairs I have/had (up to $300) and might admit - it's absolutely balanced choice in terms of value for money. Can't say about its reliability, but it's not a first furniture from Ikea, I think it should be adequate.5
