ComfortableAnonymous reviewerIt's fluffy enough and feels high quality. The only downside is the feather odour. I aired it for about 12 hours, and then machine washed it and let it dry outdoors for about 6 hours. The feather smell is still somewhat there but I'm pretty sure it'll be gone in a few days. I only wish that IKEA would use something on the feathers to remove their odour before putting them in a duvet during manufacturing. It's a great duvet overall.4

How to care for your down/feather duvet

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather duvet and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the duvet separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer will ensure more efficient drying. Air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
