Make a cosy kid’s bed curtain

In a shared kids’ room, a bed curtain can be a big help for creating much-needed privacy. This playful idea uses textiles to make a ‘mini room’ in the space under a STUVA loft bed. It originated from our Square Metre Challenge shared kids’ room.

We used a STUVA loft bed, removed the desk that comes with it and put in a MINNEN extendable bed. The fabric attaches to the loft bed with hook-and-loop fasteners, so it detaches easily for safety. The roll-up door makes it even more fun to crawl into bed and lets the kid control how much to see or be seen!
