Traditional kitchen design
The traditional kitchen is more than just the cook's kitchen. It's a place for the whole family, the true heart of the home. A traditional-style kitchen has a combination of painted cabinet doors and glass doors. The doors have details like beveling (raised center panel), shaker style or recessed panels that give the kitchen its traditional style and feel. Shades of cream, grey, green and blue are the most popular colours. You can also combine two colours, for example dark base cabinets and lighter wall cabinets, or use a kitchen island in a different colour.
