Pasta with homemade pesto

Ingredients 

  • 400 g BÄSTISAR pasta
  • 60 g MUNSBIT roasted cashews lightly salted
  • 1 large pot of basil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 dl olive oil
  • 1 dl parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Step by step 

  1. Boil salted water for the pasta and cook it according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Chop or blend the cashew nuts, basil and garlic. Mix with the olive oil, and add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste.

 

Tip: Try substituting basil with arugula, spinach or carrot tops for new, delicious flavour combos.
