The wall shelf has one bevelled and one smooth edge on the long side, so you can choose the side you want facing the room depending on which of the two different styles you like the most.
Good to know
Max. load refers to the max. weight before the shelf is risking to slant. Distribute the weight evenly on the shelf to avoid the risk of slanting.

It was easy to install brackets to wall. Only screwed front edge of shelf to brackets to simplify installation. Looks good and works well as storage over our washer and dryer.
