This is our third collection developed in collaboration with Nordens Ark, a Swedish wildlife conservation centre. Together, we work to bring awareness to one of our world’s unique ecosystems. ALPTALL lets you turn into a red panda with a towel after taking a bath or walk in the footsteps of a snow leopard on a rug. Every product is designed to let you explore and learn about the plants and animals from this remarkable region. “We want to shine a light on this part of the world in a way that’s both educational and inspirational,” says Bodil. “It’s somewhere a lot of people never get to visit, but with the collection, and some imagination, you can almost get there from the comfort of your home.”

Material
Tinplated steel, Paint, Clear lacquer
The pattern on the lid matches other products in the ALPTALL collection, which encourages children to be creative.
Designed for a 12-pack of MÅLA felt-tip pens but works just as well for other felt-tip and colouring pens. Since colouring pens are often narrower, more than 12 can fit.
The lid sits firmly and stays in place – even when bumping around in a backpack or bag.

Story
Welcome to the wild Himalayas
Get ready for adventure! From chilly deserts, through lush forests and up rocky mountains, the only thing you need to pack is your imagination. Along the way you’re sure to meet some of the unique animals that call this landscape home. Like the long-eared jerboa with a powerful hop, and the Pallas’s cat, who’s grumpy face just might make you smile.
“We work hard to make sure the soft toys are really like the animals they’re based on,” says Bodil Fritjofsson, Better Homes Leader, who worked to develop the soft toys for ALPTALL collection. “And it’s exciting for us to learn about these animals, too. Some of them we’d never heard of before!”
A new world to explore
Let your imagination run wild
We believe children are the most important people in the world, and we know play is essential to their health, development and happiness. That’s why ALPTALL offers parents and their children different ways to get playful – whether it’s solving puzzles in the activity book or getting lost in a make-believe world with a soft toy friend.
