MÄVINN. Combining social entrepreneurship and design.

The MÄVINN collection consists of much more than decorations. Look closely and you’ll discover impressive traditional craftsmanship in innovative materials. But most importantly, woven into every MÄVINN product is opportunity and purpose for those who need it most.

For sale only in stores from 1 January 2026.

The only thing that pops are the colours

Our social business partner ROPE is located in a region of India known for its firecracker factories and their unsafe working conditions. ROPE provides a safe, fair-paying alternative where women get to use their craft skills. Set your table with a handwoven MÄVINN place mat or table-runner to celebrate traditional craftsmanship.

Come closer to nature with a banana lampshade

In the MÄVINN collection, we strive to use natural, renewable and biodegradable materials, such as banana bark and jute, whenever we can in the production. This gives the MÄVINN products a unique impression with natural colour variations.

I used to work in a hospital as a nurse, but after I had the baby I couldn’t work there anymore. Since they offer childcare here, my child is safe and I can work without worrying. Now that we have two incomes, we are managing.

Scandinavian modern design made with traditional craftsmanship

In MÄVINN, we are combining natural materials with bold patterns and strong colours. This launch is building on the same visual impression as the previous drop while adding some new functions and complementary colours. Designed to make a difference, we hope MÄVINN can help set the right tone for your living room.

A colourful collaboration

The MÄVINN cushion cover designed by Luna Gil comes with a big floral print. The hand embroidered details around the edges of the leaves add a tactile touch while providing economic empowerment and resilience for 305 Jordanian women and Syrian refugees working at the Jordan River Foundation.

Let artisanal accessories enhance your dining room

Match the striped MÄVINN apron with a set of MÄVINN curtains and a tote bag. Dobby-woven by hand with embroidered details, they add a rustic feel to your home. By hanging pots from the ceiling or putting utensils in jute storage baskets and hanging them on the walls, you can optimise your space with a natural look.

Parts of the MÄVINN collection are displayed on a table and hanging in front of a window in a room with an industrial look.
