Oops insurance for IKEA Family members
Be on the safe side when you transport and assemble your IKEA furniture.
Things don't always go as planned. That's when it's nice to know you're in safe hands with IKEA Family. Enter your IKEA Family card number when you pay, and you'll automatically get 14 days of Oops-insurance.
If you're unlucky and damage your products during transport or assembly within 14 days of purchase, IKEA will give you a new part or item for free.
Terms of the insurance:
- The insurance only applies if you registered your IKEA Family card when purchasing the item, either online or in-store.
- The insurance is valid for 14 days from the date you purchased the product or received the product upon delivery.
- The insurance does not cover products purchased in the Second Hand store, as well as custom-made kitchen worktops and wall panels.
To receive a new part or item from IKEA for free, you must bring your proof of purchase (receipt/order), and the damaged part or product to the IKEA store.
