1 What is IKEA Family?
IKEA Family is a customer club for people who love home furnishings. As an IKEA Family member, you will get product updates and the latest trends in home furnishing.
The membership terms and conditions below describe the rights and obligations you have as an IKEA Family member. Here you will find information on what you need to become a member, what membership entails and what we need to be able to provide you with offers and benefits - no matter where you are in life.
The parties to the agreement are IKEA AS (IKEA), Nesbruveien 40, 1396 Billingstad, and the person who is registered as a member.

5 Marketing
5.1 Communication between IKEA and Family members
IKEA Family is a benefit program based on sending marketing offers to all members.
We must therefore be able to send certain types of messages to our members, such as generic offers and other member benefits. As a member, you will receive this via email and/or SMS.
We can also give you recommendations based on products that you have shopped in the past, on your choice of the nearest warehouse etc. This marketing communication is not based on a personal profile, but rather consists of generic offers and other member benefits. You can read more about this in our Privacy Policy.
You can find your IKEA Family card in your IKEA Family profile, in the newsletter or in the app when you are logged in.
5.2 Reservation
You have the right to object to marketing communication based on analysis of your purchase history and other personal data. You do this by changing the setting in your IKEA Family profile.
If you do not wish to hear from us at all, you can easily opt out of all marketing communication by deleting your user profile, see section 2.3.
6 Changes to Terms and Conditions
Our services are in continuous development. We have therefore the right to update the current Terms and Conditions. You will always find the updated version of the Terms and Conditions on IKEA.no

Upon reorganisation, IKEA AS has the right to transfer its rights and/or obligations under the current Terms and Conditions to another company, for example to another IKEA company.
8 Liability
IKEA is not responsible for loss of discounts and other benefits due to printing errors, technical failure, downtime and similar unforeseen events.
9 Duration and cancellation
The agreement is valid until cancelled by the IKEA member.

To ensure that we do not process more personal data than necessary, we may also terminate your IKEA Family membership and delete all personal information if the membership has been inactive for more than 3 years.
