How the assembly service works:

1. Add the products to the shopping cart on IKEA.no and order assembly directly. If you shop in the store, ask an employee to order assembly for you.
2. Once you have ordered assembly and chosen a date, you will receive a confirmation from us. Within 24 hours, you will also receive a confirmation from our partner Luado confirming a start time within the time frame you have chosen. Here you can also communicate with the assembler about the job.
3. Luado will arrive at your place at the agreed time and assemble the products according to the instructions. If you want them to take the packaging with them, you must agree on this and the price directly with the assembler.
4. After the job is done, approve it and pay for the service with Luado. If something goes wrong and you want to make a complaint, please contact Luado directly.

Assembly times: 07:00–21:00 Monday to Friday, and 09:00–21:00 on Saturday.

What is included in the assembly service and what do I need to prepare as a customer?

What do I need to prepare?

• Have all the products to be assembled in place before Luado’s employee arrives. If you are missing any products or parts, the job cannot be completed, and you will be charged a fee. 
• Prepare the area so that the products can be assembled without problems.

The following is included in the assembly service:

• Assembly according to the assembly instructions.
• Placement of the product.
• Fixing to the wall if necessary.

The following is not included in the assembly service:

• Ironing of textiles is not included in the assembly of textile products, such as sofas, armchairs, and curtains.
• Screws, plugs, and other fasteners are not included. You must have the correct fasteners in place, or alternatively, agree with the assembler that they will purchase these. Payment for materials is made directly with the assembler via Vipps.

Terms and Conditions for assembly

• Check that you have all the products to be assembled and that they are not damaged.
• If you are missing something or find a damaged product, contact IKEA customer service and inform the assembler so that you can agree on a new date and time for the assembly.
• The products to be assembled must be easily accessible, either in the same room or an adjacent room. 
• Remember to protect your floors.
• If you need tools and materials, this must be agreed upon and paid for directly with our partner well in advance of the assembly. This applies, for example, when you need products anchored/fixed to the wall.
• If you want to cancel the assembly, you can do so free of charge 24 hours before the task starts. If you cancel within less than 24 hours, you will be charged a cancellation fee. For more information, see Luado’s terms.
• The service does not include the removal of waste or packaging, but this can be ordered as an additional service from our partner.

Electrician

You do not need an electrician to install IKEA lighting for wardrobes or other furniture; you can do this yourself (provided that a power outlet is available near the furniture).

If you still want help from an electrician, our service partners can help you connect lighting to your wardrobe. They can also help you with larger tasks. Contact our customer service center to send a price request for electrical work.
