Our services are performed by IKEA’s assemblers or one of our service partners who will contact you directly to arrange a start time for the task. Note that the date and time stated on your order confirmation is a provisional date. Our service partners will contact you beforehand to clarify any questions and needs for additional services after receiving your order and confirm the start time on the last working day before the agreed task. The assembler will arrive at your address at the agreed time. Please note that this is the time window for the start of the service, and the length of the task may vary based on its scope. You must be at home to receive the assembler, so you can review any drawings and the work to be done before starting.
If you want to make changes or cancel the ordered service, you must contact IKEA no later than 3 working days before the planned kitchen installation start date and no later than 2 working days before the start of other services. If you cancel services after this time, you will be charged 15% of the installation price for services starting on subsequent working days. In zones 2 and 3, we will also charge 15% of the attendance cost. If you discover errors or deficiencies in your assembly or installation order during the work, or if you need additional services, please contact IKEA for further processing.
If you are not at home at the agreed time, you will be charged 15% of the installation price for the services that were to start that day. In zones 2 and 3, we will also charge 15% of the attendance cost. There must be a drivable road to the installation address, as the assembler will have tools and necessary material with them to perform the service.
Prices for installation or assembly services apply to IKEA's currently valid range, and are stated for zone 1. In zones 2 and 3, you will be charged an attendance fee when ordering installation or assembly services, which is included in the price of the ordered service. The attendance cost includes all costs associated with attendance such as company car, fuel, tolls, driving time, parking expenses and more. When installing products that are not part of IKEA's range, separate prices apply and are agreed between the service partner and you as the customer directly. Any additional work such as carpentry services, tiling, plumbing and electrical work have their own prices. An agreement on additional work is entered into directly with the service partner and coordinated by the service partner. IKEA is not held responsible for agreements entered into directly between the service partner and the customer.
