How do I insert a custom-made worktop in IKEA Kitchen planner?
You can design a custom worktop in the Kitchen planner tool, but please note that your kitchen plan must also be verified by a Kitchen Specialist, either online or in-store to ensure your worktop will fit your new kitchen correctly.
Follow these steps to design a custom-made worktop in the Kitchen planner tool:
- Start by choosing one of the worktops available in the tool and confirm that the one you want is a custom-made worktop (this information will be in the product description). If you have already chosen a cabinet with another worktop, you can simply change it by clicking on it and then pressing 'Style/Colour'.
- When you have chosen your desired worktop, press 'Modify'.
- If you want to adjust the dimensions yourself, press ‘Modify worktop options’. This will open the Worktop Composer tool, where you can set the dimensions of your worktop as desired. The dimensions will then automatically be added to your design.
- Before you can proceed with the order of your kitchen design, a kitchen plan with a custom-made worktop always needs to be verified by a Kitchen Specialist online or in-store. Please also note that the price shown in the Kitchen planner tool is a quotation price and might not be the same as the final price for your order. Book a planning session!
