How do I buy a product from a gift list?

You can buy a product from a gift list on our website or in a store.

Shopping for gifts online:

• Click on the symbol to “Add to gift bag”
• The gift bag is only available via the gift list page and is not the same as the regular shopping cart.
• Complete the purchase as usual and write a greeting to the recipient.
• Note:  If you want to buy something else for yourself in the same purchase, do this as usual on IKEA.no and then mark the gift as purchased in the same way as you would if you bought it in a store. See below:

Shopping for gifts in-store:

• Click on “Start shopping in the store” and select your store. You will then see the stock location and stock balance at your store.
• Mark the gift as purchased after you have bought it in the store.
• You can also use this method if you want to shop via the regular shopping cart on IKEA.no and not via the gift bag.
